| After the introduction of western feminist translation theory into China,feminist translation theories with Chinese characteristics have been volatilized in the context of Chinese culture.Feminist translation theory holds that translation involves cultural and social consciousness,unlike the common perception that translation only involves the application of language skills.Although domestic studies on literary translation from the perspective of feminist translation are increasing year by year,studies from the perspective of Korean-Chinese translation are still limited.Compared with traditional feminist translation strategies,In the context of Chinese culture,when translators translate from the perspective of feminist translation theory,the translator subjectivity is often play to comply with the cultural context,to make better than western feminist translation strategies of "euphemism" processing,thus exerting feminist translation with Chinese characteristics.And in the translation practice,generally will not follow a translation theory and strategies.In order to achieve the corresponding translation purpose and show the best translation,translation practice is usually combined with a variety of translation theories and strategies.<KIM JI-YOUNG,BORN 1982> is a short story written by Korean writer Cho Nam-ju.It has been translated into Chinese,English,German,French,Japanese and Thai languages as well as a movie of the same name.This work is a representative feminist literary work in Korea.as a female translator,Yin Jiaxuan who is the translator of the Chinese version of this fiction,embodies the distinctive characteristics of feminist translation theory practice in her translation treatment.This paper selects the Chinese version of <KIM JI-YOUNG,BORN 1982>as the subject,and attempts to observe and analyze the phenomenon of female translators’ translation of feminist texts based on feminist translation theory in Chinese context,and it is found that in the Context of Chinese culture,translators often use translator subjectivity to adapt to the cultural context,and use more "euphemistic" processing in translations,thus the feminist translation with Chinese characteristics is formed.This paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly expounds the research purpose and significance of this paper.After and summarizing the previous literature,the innovation of this paper is proposed.In this chapter,this chapter illustrates the subject and research method in details.The second chapter mainly expounds the concept,origin,development and strategies of feminist translation theory,and expound the characteristics of feminist translation strategies in the Context of Chinese culture on the basis of existing research,the relevant theory feminist translation in the context of Chinese culture,namely adaptation theory and translator subjectivity.The third chapter mainly analyzes the feminist translation strategies in the Chinese version of <KIM JI-YOUNG,BORN 1982>,focusing on the application of feminist translation strategies from the perspective of adapting to Chinese cultural and linguistic situations and exerting the translator’s subjectivity,and summarizes the characteristics of its use of strategies.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the effects of feminist translation strategies from three perspectives: highlighting female characters,focusing on female social problems and taking the acceptability of translated readers into consideration.The fifth chapter summarizes the use and effect of feminist translation and its strategy,pointing out that there are still more space worthwhile to further explore Korean-Chinese literary translation from the perspective of feminist translation. |
