The market of film culture is unpredictable,and it can reflect the change of social mainstream culture demand to a certain extent.In the past decade,the local Chinese films have re-occupied the mainstream position of cinemas in Malaysia,and the new Chinese film market will become the key import project of Malaysian film companies.The success of Chinese films again confirms the cultural awakening of the Chinese people in Southeast Asia.At the same time,Chinese films in Malaysia have again become the focus of academic attention.This paper takes Malaysian Chinese films as the research object,starts with the plot analysis of Malaysian Chinese films,analyzes the fusion and collision of Chinese traditional culture in Malaysian films and the local culture of Malaysia infiltrated into the Chinese culture,discusses the fusion and collision of Malaysian native culture and Chinese traditional culture from the perspective of Chinese,and predicts the future development of Malaysian Chinese films industry.
