A Study Of Wang Gen’s Thought Of Taking The Person As The Noumenon

The Taizhou School,as one of the most influential schools in the Wang’s School of the Ming Dynasty,its uniqueness has made a great contribution to the rich development of my country’s intellectual history.As the founder of Taizhou School,Wang Gen’s humanistic thought plays an important role in promoting and running through the growth process of the whole school.After studying under Wang Yangming,he has his own original ideas for the theories such as "Conscience" and "Gewu",inherits and develops Wang Yangming’s thoughts on psychology partly.Wang Gen further put forward the theoretical system of"Individualism",reinterpreted the traditional concepts of Confucianism,and transferred the philosophical perspective to the folk society,to highlight the self-subject value of the people,thus opening a new way of Confucianism to folklore.Previous studies on Wang Gen’s own thoughts generally only paid attention to the characteristics of populism or populist thoughts,and the scope of research was mainly limited to a certain point in Wang Gen’s own thoughts to elaborate,lacking a systematic and comprehensive understanding of this thought.This article will start from the era background and theoretical origin of Wang Gen,and explore the inextricable connections between Wang Yangming,Taoism and Wang Gen.On the premise of clarifying the basic connotation of the Confucian view of the body,combined with Wang Yangming’s system of psychology,the body itself is explained in detail from the three parts of "respecting the body,self-cultivation,and protecting the body",and extracts the distinctive features of the thought as a whole.Finally,this article intends to reveal the guiding value of Wang Gen’s own thought for the harmonious development of realistic multi-angle relationships;however,this thought also has certain limitations,which has led to the Taizhou School to be misunderstood by later generations.
