In the history of Chinese Philosophy, the Body and the relationship between the Body and the Mind in Confucianism have been one of the most popular topics. Throughout the history of Neo-Confucianism in Song and Ming Dynasty, Wang Gen, as the founder of School of Taizhou, he put more weight on "body" and put forward a series of key concepts and propositions, for example, study the nature of things and settle down the Body, conscience and protect oneself, the Body and Dao is the one, respect the Body and so on. These concepts all highlight the importance of "Body". This article will focus on these concepts and propositions and discuss the content, role and influence of Settle Down the Body, which provides us a new version to get to know the Neo-Confucianism.
