| As the initial stage of basic education,primary school is also a primary stage of children’s socialization.It is an important stage for the cultivation of primary school students’ verbal communication skills.In addition to the cultivation of mother tongue communication skills,the cultivation of English language communication is also very important at this stage.From the perspective of the new curriculum standards,the goal of current primary school students’ English learning lies in the cultivation of core English literacy,aiming to gradually form correct values ??and outlooks on life that are adapted to personal lifelong development and social development through learning courses.Although my country has started English teaching very early,compared with other countries that carry out bilingual teaching,the development is still relatively slow and insufficient,and the actual effect of language teaching in schools is not significant.Therefore,it is more necessary to strengthen the cultivation of primary school students’ verbal communication ability in bilingual contexts.The use of language is the basis of communication.According to the latest English curriculum standards for primary school students,the goal of English teaching in the primary school stage is to improve core English literacy.Core English literacy protects language ability,cultural awareness,thinking quality,and learning ability.Under the existing teaching system,how to help students improve their English cultural literacy and establish an international vision and firm cultural self-confidence is the focus of English teaching at this stage.Based on the theoretical guidance of Hymes’ "verbal communication ability",this paper analyzes the current situation of primary school students’ verbal communication teaching,focuses on the training goals of primary school students’ verbal communication ability,and proposes three aspects of the training mode of students’ verbal communication ability: constructing communicative meaning and language knowledge Equal emphasis is placed on the knowledge imparting system,the creation of communication scenes that conform to the laws of physical and mental development of primary school students,and the use of teaching methods created by diversified situations.Finally,it proposes ways to promote primary school students’ verbal communication ability from several aspects,and summarizes the enlightenment for English teachers,to provide help for primary school students’ verbal communication teaching under the bilingual teaching mode. |
