Under the ongoing impact of the new crown epidemic,the School of Afro-Asian Languages at the University of Lagos,Nigeria,suspended in-person classes and switched to online teaching.Many problems have arisen in the new field of online teaching.In order to improve the various problems existing in online teaching and improve learners’ oral communication ability,the author sorted out the research on oral teaching and found that the task-based teaching method with "learning by doing" and"learning by use" as the core themes can link language learning with learners’ use of language,thereby effectively alleviating "learning" and "speaking" in online oral Chinese teaching The problem of segmentation.This paper takes the learners of the online intermediate oral Chinese course of the School of Afro-Asian Languages of the University of Lagos,Nigeria as the research object,and presents the teaching design of the online task-based oral Chinese course relatively completely,and at the same time effectively applies the task-based teaching method to the intermediate oral classroom and proposes the teaching strategy accordingly.The full text is divided into four parts:The introduction section mainly elaborates on the reason and significance of the topic selection of this article.Through the use of literature research,it sorts out relevant previous research on task-based teaching method,online teaching,online teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,and teaching design of oral Chinese as a foreign language.In addition,it further clarifies and clarifies the basic connotation and theoretical basis of task-based teaching method,as well as the development of online teaching under the epidemic situation,Finally,the research methods adopted in this paper are listed.The first chapter discusses the basic situation of Lagos University,the analysis of teachers and learners,the analysis of course status,and the feasibility of applying task-based teaching method to oral teaching.Chapter 2 is the specific experimental demonstration section for teaching,mainly introducing the design of task-based teaching experiments,including the experimental purpose,experimental objects,experimental design,and experimental process.And select a theme task to analyze the specific case accordingly.The third chapter aims to evaluate and reflect on the effectiveness of task-based teaching applied to online oral teaching,in order to obtain inspiration.The content includes classroom observations and evaluations made by teachers during the classroom process,student self-evaluation,and student test results,further analyzing the application effects of different task types.On this basis,starting from the implementation effect of task-based teaching and combining with the theoretical basis of task-based teaching,the advantages and disadvantages of applying task-based teaching to oral classes are summarized,and inspiration is drawn,aiming to be beneficial for future oral teaching in Nigeria. |
