Cross-border e-commerce development is seen as a critical basis for the rapid emergence of a new competitive advantage in China’s foreign trade, particularly in light of the global epidemic and the spread of the digital economy, which has allowed cross-border e-commerce to flourish.Cross-border e-commerce development is favorable to accelerating the transformation of China’s foreign trade into a digital form of trade, and enhancing China’s foreign trade companies’ worldwide competitiveness.Non-linguistic localization and linguistic localization were studied in this work, focusing on the sensory experience, interaction experience, browsing experience, trusted experience, and value experience of Ali Express’ users at home and aboard. It is believed that it will help Ali Express merchants better learn their customers’ experiences with the platform, particularly the impact of website translation localization on user experience. The data for this study was obtained with a questionnaire, and the data was analyzed by SPSSPRO statistical software. The study’s findings show that the Ali Express’ s current user experience scores are all below 4 points(From low to high,it should be 1 point: strongly dissatisfied,2 points:dissatisfied,3 points: no opinion,4 points: satisfied,5: very satisfied),and they could be better. The average user experience score for sensory experience is 3.877,interaction experience score is 3.891,and browsing experience score is 3.670,which is the lowest of the five user experience scores. The average trusted experience score is 3.880,while the average value experience score is 3.757.Poor linguistic and non-linguistic platform experiences can leave users with an unfavorable impression and possibly cause them to abandon using the platform.Based on the above issues, this thesis provides linguistic localization and non-linguistic localization solutions for cross-border e-commerce websites. The goal is going to notify designers to improve website localization from user experience,so as to improve user experience, increase website user stickiness, and extend the user group. At the same time,it boots the expansion of global trade in the direction of diversification.
