A Study On The Social Thought Of Zhou Yicheng’s Biography

Since its birth,Chinese sociology has continued to draw lessons from western sociological theories and methods,while absorbing the beneficial elements of traditional social thoughts,adhering to the guidance of Marxism,and developing in the form of localization up to now.The academia has made a thorough and comprehensive study of the whole social thought of cheng Hao and Cheng Yi,the thinkers of the Northern Song Dynasty.This paper USES literature research method,comparative research and interdisciplinary study,the work of cheng "Zhou Yicheng’s biography"(" Cheng Shi yi)contained in the,in view of the social relations,social life and social issues of social concept,which is formed by the social thought,the purpose is to find out the social thought of history and logic relationship between each part.First of all,it summarizes the existing research results of the academic circle on the second process of Neo-Confucianism,the second process of social thought and the content overview of The Biography of Zhou Yicheng.While summing up the similarities of the second process thoughts,it also focuses on the differences of the second process thoughts in academic circles.At the same time,this paper classifies the evaluative literature of Er Cheng’s thought and Cheng’s Yi Zhuan.Secondly,taking Cheng’s Yi Zhuan as the research subject,this paper explores the theoretical origin of the social thought it shows.This paper summarizes the thoughts of social order,social norms,social communication and social control in Confucius and Mencius’ social thoughts,and analyzes the influence of Confucianism forerunner on Cheng Yi’s social thoughts.Elaborated cheng Yi to Zhou Dunyi,Zhang Zai and other yi thought inheritance and criticism;Based on cheng Yi’s annotation and re-reading of the hexagrams and the words of the trigrams,this paper divides the study of the social ideology of Cheng’s Biography of Zhouyi into four aspects: social order thought,social norms thought,social communication thought and social control thought.Social order is not immutable,social norms carry normative behaviors in social communication in specific forms,and social control restricts deviant behaviors in social communication by means of coordination and control,which jointly maintain a stable social order.Thirdly,on the basis of comparison,the author evaluates the social thought of Cheng’s Biography of Zhouyi.This paper analyzes cheng Yi’s thought characteristics of taking the principle of nature as the base,paying attention to the harmony of grades and changing from tao.Based on the rationality of the thoughts of social order,social norms,social communication and social control shown in Cheng’s Yi Zhuan,this paper evaluates and analyzes the substantive significance of human relations order in the benign operation of society.Among them,durkheim’s three moral elements are compared with Cheng Yi’s custom cultivation,the distinction between "public and private" and "autonomy".This paper nested cheng Yi’s interpersonal communication mode or social action into Parsons’ "model variable",and analyzed the characteristics of Traditional Chinese social action and western social action theory by integrating comparison,to illustrate the rationality of Cheng Yi’s social thought.Then it verifies the effectiveness of Cheng Yi’s social thoughts with social order,social norms,social communication,social reform and social governance in the modern society.Combining sociology theory with Chinese traditional culture,realizing the integration of "reality" and tradition,strengthening the localization characteristics of sociology theory.The social thought in The Biography of Zhou Yicheng has both theoretical value and historical limitation.In addition to evaluating its own positive effect on society,it also discriminates the negative impact of its thoughts,which is the basic attitude of academic research.Inheriting and carrying forward the essence of traditional culture,abandoning the backward feudal thoughts in traditional culture,and treating tradition and culture with a correct attitude are dialectical concepts that we should have in the social process.
