Expressing one’s willingness to negate is also a necessary output for everyday learning and communication.Negation is an important form of expression of language and is an integral part of verbal communication and thinking activities.Any language has a system of related negative expressions. The terms "bu" and "mei" are the most popular Chinese adverbs when it comes to negative expressions. They are the most common negative adverbs in Chinese language.Learners of Chinese can’t help but use "bu" and "mei" in their daily oral and written expressions, and they are used quite frequently. The use of adverbs in modern Chinese lexical categories are much widespread and relatively flexible, and the lexical composition of negative adverbs is even more complex. Therefore, for Chinese learners,"bu" and "mei" are easily misused in the process of language acquisition.Egyptian learners of Chinese are native speakers of Arabic, which belongs to the central Semitic branch of the Afro-Asian Semitic language family, and the difference in language families makes the use of negation words different. This also makes it difficult for Egyptian learners to learn the negative adverbs "bu" and "mei" in Chinese. In this paper,we analyze the differences between Chinese and Arabic in the Confucius Institute at the University of Cairo, and design a questionnaire on the acquisition errors of Egyptian learners of Chinese.According to the results of the survey,we integrate and analyze the causes and sources of the errors in the acquisition of the negative adverbs "bu" and "mei" by Chinese learners at the Confucius Institute of Cairo University in Egypt, and propose corresponding teaching strategies and solutions in order to provide a favorable reference for teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Egypt and make a contribution to the teaching of negative adverbs. This paper is divided into six parts, the specific structure is as follows: the introduction mainly explains the reasons for choosing the topic,The significance of the selected topic, the target and content of the paper, and the method of research. The first chapter is a review of the research on the ontology of the negative adverbs "bu" and "mei" and the research results of "bu" and "mei" in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The first chapter analyzes the Noumenon of negative adverbs "bu" and "mei" and the research achievements in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The second chapter first clarifies the basic usage and comparison of the Chinese negative expressions "bu" and "mei".The second chapter compares the similarities and differences between the Chinese negative adverbs "bu" and "mei" and the Arabic negative words in terms of semantic, grammatical and collocation usage, and gives a systematic explanation and examples. In the third chapter,a questionnaire survey is used to investigate the acquisition of "bu" and "mei" by Egyptian learners of Chinese at the Confucius Institute of Cairo University and some students at the teaching site. The survey results show that the acquisition of "bu" and "mei" by Egyptian Chinese learners is poor, especially the acquisition and mastery of "mei" is very unsatisfactory, and the error rate is high.Chapter 3 summarizes and analyzes the types and causes of the biases of Egyptian Chinese learners based on the actual bias corpus and the results of the questionnaire survey, which show that the main types of biases are "bu instead of mei",wrongly adding negative components, and wrong word order. This chapter provides an overview of the causes of the word misconceptions, including the influence of the acquisition order,Negative transfer of Arabic as a mother tongue,The prejudice of teachers and the influence of teaching materials, and the learning strategies and fears of the learners.Chapter 4 provides teaching suggestions for the acquisition of "bu" and "mei" by Egyptian Chinese learners,According to wrong examples and research,And proposed teaching strategies and suggestions for teachers’ teaching,The arrangement of learners themselves and local textbooks,The arrangement of learners themselves and local textbooks, and the curriculum of Confucius Institute. The concluding section summarizes the main findings of this paper. The Conclusion summarizes the main findings of this paper and identifies the deficiencies of this paper.
