| Morimi Tomihiko is a popular Japanese novelist whose works are based on Kyoto,Japan,and are based on his wild imagination,creating a bizarre "Kyoto world".He is known as "the most unorthodox genius" because he has won many awards such as "Yamamoto Jogoro Award" and "Japan Bookstore Award".The thesis takes "Kyoto" writing in the novel of Morimi Tomihiko as the object of study,and combines various theories such as literary geography and spatial narrative to conduct a more comprehensive and in-depth study of "Kyoto" writing in the novel of Morimi Tomihiko from the aspects of construction and generation effect of literary space.In this way,the value and significance of "Kyoto"writing by Morimi Tomehiko are explored.The thesis consists of three parts:the introduction,the body,and the conclusion.In the introductory part,while introducing the works of the writer and summarizing the relevant domestic and international studies on Morimi Tomihiko,the approach of literary geography and the fit between this theory and the study of Morimi Tomihiko’s writing are discussed,and the meaning and value of studying Morimi Tomihiko’s novels from the perspective of literary geography are explained from an objective point of view.The main text consists of three chapters.The first chapter is a summary of the geographic space,geographic imagery and literary images in the novels of Morimi Tomihiko.The novel focuses on the literary space of "Kyoto",where people of all kinds can travel through the spring,summer,autumn and winter,the past and the present in Kyoto without any hindrance,and at the same time,this space also carries the author’s literary imagination and geographical perception of Kyoto,which is the unique literary space constructed by Morimi Tomihiko.The second chapter of the thesis focuses on the generation mechanism of "Kyoto" writing,and discusses around the past life of Kyoto and the transformation of real Kyoto by Morimi Tomehiko.The creation not only preserves the thousand-year history of Kyoto,but also accommodates the multi-culture of modern times,and the two are compatible.and complementary.In addition,the nourishment and immersion of the hometown Nara and other places Kyoto are also the soil for Morimi Tomihiko to construct the world of "Kyoto".The creative reconstruction of Kyoto by Morimi Tomihiko shows his profound thinking about the modern city.The third chapter of the thesis is mainly analyzed from the perspective of the generation effect of"Kyoto" writing.Kyoto" under the writing of Morimi Tomihiko is not only a rich and sensual urban space in the eyes of young people,but also a literary space that crosses the ancient and modern worlds,bridges the classical and modern,and intertwines reality and illusion,manifesting the "Kyoto style"under the changes of the times. |
