This paper and the degree work choose the traditional meaning of "p lume" for the creation practice.This work is based on the aesthetic princip le of the body rhythm of Chinese classical dance,and uses the natural scenery and the scenery of the egret between the clouds and water as the material to start the creation of the work with the cooperation of the p lume and the movement of the body.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is a historical overview of the use and value of props in traditional Chinese dance.The second chapter provides a textual analysis of the inspiration for the material,the overview of the work and the attempt to practice the p lume in the context of the degree work.The third chapter considers the ethnicity and diversity of the use of p lumes as props in Chinese classical dance and concludes.As a valuable resource in traditional Chinese art forms,the p lume should be based on tradition and be aesthetically recreated to meet the needs of the times,so the research and development of the p lume in this paper and work is only a starting point,and the subsequent results are yet to be exp lored and deepened.
