Spatial Narrative Analysis In Rural-themed TV Drama

The research object of this paper is the TV dramas with rural themes that have won the "Fei Tian Award".Through the analysis of the spatial narrative presented by these TV dramas,the expression form,function and aesthetic expression of the spatial narrative in the creation of rural dramas are discussed.Since its inception,rural dramas have always been closely related to the lives of farmers.While showing the development of agriculture,presenting the current situation of rural China and the living conditions of farmers,they also reflect the various contradictions and difficulties faced by rural society in our country.Opportunities and challenges are of indispensable significance.In rural dramas,space is the best evidence to connect rural stories.In today’s social background,it is necessary to explore more deeply the various possibilities of TV drama space narrative,so as to deepen the understanding and grasp of the popular cultural form of rural drama.Therefore,spatial narrative has important significance and research value for the research of TV dramas with rural themes.The article is divided into six chapters.First,the introduction part introduces the background,methods and significance of this study,and clarifies related concepts to facilitate follow-up research.The first chapter is the theoretical basis,which expounds the theoretical basis of this research,including space production theory,Foucault space theory,space narratology theory,etc.,which laid a theoretical foundation for the follow-up research.Then,the second chapter discusses the construction of narrative space types of TV dramas with rural themes from the perspective of geographical space,social space and spiritual space,and analyzes the spatial narrative types of spatial narratives in TV dramas.On this basis,the third chapter further discusses the spatial narrative function in rural TV dramas,including shaping characters,promoting narrative development,presenting urban and rural narratives,etc.In chapter four chapter,by sorting out the exploration of the aesthetic style of rural dramas,and studying the multiple styles developed on the basis of inheriting the realism of rural dramas in the space of rural dramas,it is found that the multiple styles dominated by realism in the space of rural dramas can more profoundly show the Life and social realities in rural areas.
