Zhang Guolong's Study On Abstraction In Comprehensive Material Ar

Because of its open creativity,unique artistic expression and rich visual experience,comprehensive material art attracts contemporary artists to pay attention to and constantly try.Since the late 1970 s,some artists have joined the exploration of material painting in China,becoming a growing emerging force in the field of domestic art.In the comprehensive material art,the use of abstract factors has injected more possibilities and contingency into the creation.It is not only the catalyst between the material and the artist ’s personal spirit,but also the catalyst between the viewer and the work.The reasonable and ingenious combination of material language and abstract factors creates an aesthetic space beyond the appearance.Through the construction of texture,color,space and other abstractions,the artist ’s emotions and pursuits are better displayed,and the unique charm of the picture content is conveyed in a more flexible way.The abstract research of Chinese artist Zhang Guolong’s comprehensive material works is the focus of this paper,which amalgamates the author’s painting creation with theoretical practice,divided into an introduction and three chapters.The first chapter is the analysis of the causes of the abstract style in Zhang Guolong ’s comprehensive material works,mainly from two aspects to sort out the background of the times and the artist ’s own unique examination.The second chapter combines the artist ’s works,focusing on the analysis of Zhang Guolong ’s abstract language in different aspects of comprehensive material art,and how to become a part of the artist ’s painting language through what creative techniques.The third chapter discusses the influence of the use of abstraction in Zhang Guolong ’s picture on the author ’s creation in different aspects,and expounds the reasons for the author ’s topic selection and the problems encountered in the practice process.Finally,it summarizes the shortcomings in the creation,and considers how to better combine the traditional culture with the abstraction of the picture in the context of contemporary culture.Through the study and research of Zhang Guolong,the understanding of the creation of comprehensive materials is deepened,and the personal development of abstract thinking is carried out.
