This paper investigates and analyzes the teaching practices of master’s students majoring in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of other languages(students of Grade 2021,grade 2022 and previous students)in schools with Master’s programs in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of other languages.By referring to the International Standards for Professional Competence of Chinese Teachers and the theory of teacher professional development,the author proposes to strengthen learners’ teaching practice ability and cognition of professional development in terms of teaching practice.In view of the problems existing in the teaching practice of this kind of students,the optimization suggestions are put forward to individuals and training units.This paper is divided into four chapters.The introduction mainly introduces the research background,research significance,research methods and literature review of this paper.The first chapter is an analysis of the knowledge structure and professional ability of MTCSOL students with English major background.Chapter 2 The design and implementation of the investigation of teaching practice of Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages with English major background,including the investigation object,the investigation purpose and content,and the implementation.In addition,the research also conducted in-depth interviews with four Chinese students majoring in English,two Chinese students majoring in undergraduate,and two former students.The sociological statistical software SPSS25.0 was used in this paper to test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire.In the third chapter,in order to investigate the influence of background literacy of English majors on the teaching practice of Master’s students in teaching Chinese to Speakers of other languages,based on the latest International Standards for Chinese Teachers,the questions designed include four dimensions:The Influence of English professionalism on Language knowledge and professional skills;An analysis of the influence of English Professionalism on Intercultural Communication Competence;The influence of English professionalism on Chinese culture and communication ability;Role consciousness and Personality Traits of students with English major background.The advantages and disadvantages of teaching practice in the study of Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages with English major background are investigated.In the fourth chapter,based on the problems arising from the investigation and research,suggestions are put forward for individuals and training institutions to promote the development of such students.Finally,the paper is reviewed and summarized,and the limitations and deficiencies of this research are put forward.
