The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics has come to a perfect end,but the athletes’moving figures on the field,the volunteers’ silent efforts behind the scenes,the venue builders’ wisdom and hardship,and the hundreds of millions of ordinary citizens who are concerned about the Winter Olympics,their stories are still continuing and their figures should continue to be seen,and the documentary recording and presentation is the best way.Beijing Winter Olympics documentary is an important visual material to record the development of national sports,which has its own artistic charm and historical documentary value.2022 Beijing Olympic Games,documentaries about the Winter Olympics have been released one after another,in terms of theme and content selection,expression,etc.,all have followed the times and innovation and progress,highlighting the new face of China in the new century,the excellence of Chinese and international sports.It is an important study and reference for the progress of Chinese and international sports.This paper selects the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics documentary as the research object and studies it,using the method of literature review,text analysis and expert interview method to seek the content presentation and artistic expression of Olympic spirit in the Beijing Winter Olympics-themed documentary from the perspective of documentary and Olympic spirit by analyzing the content of the documentary text and combining it with the background of the times.The excellent tradition of Olympic-themed documentaries in 2022 is summarized in order to provide reference and reference for future sports documentary creation.Through reading literature and analyzing video texts,this paper analyzes the way of constructing the content of Beijing Winter Olympics documentaries based on three aspects:multiple perspectives,narrative strategies and audiovisual language,from the surface to the inside,and gradually in depth.This paper summarizes the new connotation given to the Olympic spirit in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics period as:embracing the big picture,rising to the challenge,universal participation and innovation beyond.The expression form incorporates the characteristics and requirements of the times,with science popularization in the form of cartoons and documentary filming in the form of vlogs.Based on the above conclusions,the following suggestions are made for future Olympic-themed documentaries:to expand channels and enrich folk expression;to deepen content and strengthen plot connotation;to continue to follow up and show Olympic heritage;to integrate media and innovate narrative methods.
