Study On The Awareness Of Self-Judgment In New Century Underclass Literature

Underclass literature is a hot literary phenomenon in new century.In the literature of the underclass,there are writings about the underclass men who kill and cross the border,the underclass women who go straight to the flesh market,and the portrayal of the underclass individuals who swing between good and evil,and the psychological process of this swing is the manifestation of self-judgmental consciousness.The study of self-judgmental consciousness of the underclass literature becomes an effective way to understand the situation of the underclass and the intention of the writers.The first chapter is the introduction,which outlines the relevance of "the underclass" and underclass literature,self-judgmental consciousness,self-judgmental consciousness and underclass literature,and compares its development and research status.Chapter 2 focuses on the form and connotation of self-judgmental consciousness in underclass literature.The first category is the self-judgment consciousness in which the writer does not intervene in the story and the characters assume legal and moral responsibilities on their own,and the inner layer of which is the writer’s criticism and reflection on the failure of "self-help" of the underclass and the "failure" of non-underclass rescue."The second type is the self-judgment consciousness in which the writer’s life experience penetrates into the psychology of the characters,and the characters assume the self-judgment subject instead of the writer,whose inner layer is the writer’s self-criticism as the inheritor of Confucian ethics and the writer’s repentance in the religious and divine charm.The third category is the writer’s self-judgmental consciousness as a direct subject of self-judgment.The third category is the writers’ self-judgmental consciousness directly as self-judging subjects.The sense of self-judgment in underclass literature is born out of the moral dilemma during the period of social transformation,and is catalyzed by the repression of reality and pioneering philosophies,and eventually matures under the urging of the underclass to "lose their voices" again and the historical responsibility in the dilemma of advocacy.The fourth chapter analyzes the value and limitations of the bottom’s literary self-judgmental consciousness.The value of self-judgmental consciousness is that it provides a more submerged "saintly" writing posture for underclass literature,which is characterized by absolute loyalty to reality and history as the essential feature and inevitable requirement.The limitations of self-judgmental consciousness are mainly at the level of technical lines,mainly reflected in the idealized characterization and biased plot structure,the solidification of narrative logic under the theme first and the imagination of the saint.Self-judgmental consciousness largely reflects the writer’s call for fairness and justice,his own reflection on himself and society,and has the value of penetrating into people’s hearts and striking at reality.The dissertation examines the sense of self-judgment in underclass literature through cultural analysis,psychoanalysis,and ideological criticism,examining the existential dilemmas and spiritual pains of the underclass,and the preliminary answer to the question: "What can intellectuals do?
