| Justice has always been a crucial issue in Western political philosophy.With the continuous deepening of globalization,new phenomena and problems such as identity recognition,distribution,and global governance have emerged,which are different from the past injustice issues.Traditional theories of justice are no longer adequate to solve the problems of our time,making it the focus of the Western political science community to explore how to break through this era’s problems.Rainer Forst,as a leading figure of the "Fourth Generation" of the Frankfurt School,has developed a new theory of justice called "The Justification of Justice" by absorbing Rawls’ theory of justice and following the Frankfurt School’s critical tradition.He constructs a critical theory of justice oriented towards relational structures,with the primary issue of proving distributive rights,based on the principles of proven rights and principles,and with basic justice and maximum justice as structural types of justice.This theory is based on the "Right of Justification," criticizing and analyzing new injustice phenomena in existing societies,combining justice with justification,and aims to establish a fair social order and build a new theory of justice criticism.At the same time,Forst applies this theory to justice issues in different contexts,expanding the theory of justice criticism from domestic to international and even global levels,seeking a justice norm applicable to any situation,and insisting on the resonance between domestic justice and transnational justice.This achieves the ultimate goal of Marxist theory: human liberation,reflecting on the power relations between people,society,and the state,changing society’s unjust phenomena,and conducting profound criticism.Forst’s reinterpretation and construction of the issue of justice in accordance with the Frankfurt School’s critical tradition represents a new trend in the development of critical theory in contemporary times,providing important theoretical resource... |
