In this era,more and more people are learning Chinese all over the world.Accelerated the spread and development of the Chinese language.The demand of Chinese language learners is also increasing.With the continuous exploration of teaching research by experts and scholars,teachers are no longer limited to the use of traditional teaching mode,but pay attention to the cultivation of intermediate Chinese learners’ comprehensive language application ability and expression ability.In order to achieve this goal,teachers should combine the theme-based teaching model and intermediate comprehensive Chinese curriculum,and constantly improve the teaching quality.This paper expounds the relevant research of the theme-based teaching model at home and abroad,analyzes the main characteristics,application,advantages and feasibility of the theme-based teaching design,and applies the theme-based teaching model in the teaching design of intermediate Chinese comprehensive course.The author reflects on the achievements and shortcomings of the teaching design.Finally,it analyzes the guiding function of theme-based teaching mode in teaching.
