Maurice Ravel,as a famous French composer in the late 19 th century and the early 20 th century, made great contributions to Impressionist music with his unique music creation and composition techniques, which not only promoted the development of this school but also opened unlimited creative space for its transformation into the modern music world.Influenced by Debussy,Ravel not only continued the Impressionist style of music but also took into account the writing style of the classical period. His works cover a wide range of piano suites, orchestral music, opera, concerto and so on.The Piano Concerto in G Major is one of his two piano concertos. To perform Ravel’s works,we must first grasp the background style and characteristics of this school, and then the musical expression form and characteristics of the works themselves. This paper takes Piano Concerto in G Major as the main body to study and analyze music ontology and solve some technical problems in playing practice, such as pedal, sound effect, rhythm and so on.Finally, the difficulties in the cooperation of this work are summarized and concluded to provide better theoretical basis for the players.
