Innovative Development Of China’s Cultural Industry In Digital Economy

With the advent of the era of digital economy,the economic model based on digital technology is developing rapidly all over the world,gradually becoming an important engine to promote high-quality economic development.As the product of the integrated development of culture and science and technology,China’s cultural industry is an important means to enhance the country’s soft power,and it also ushered in a new period of strategic opportunities in digital economy.However,it has many problems while developing rapidly.On the one hand,the traditional forms of cultural industry urgently need to be transformed and upgraded.On the other hand,the inter-regional cultural industry competition is fierce,there are many problems such as the unbalanced development of regional cultural industry.Therefore,in-depth discussion on the influencing factors,evolution path and regional differentiated development of cultural industry in digital economy will strongly promote the in-depth development of China’s cultural industry,which is of great significance for the transformation and upgrading of traditional cultural industry and innovative development.Firstly,this paper summarizes and reviews the literature related to digital economy and cultural industry innovative development at home and abroad through Cite Space literature analysis method.Secondly,based on the theory of technological innovation and competitive advantage,this paper explores the factors that influence the innovative development of China’s cultural industry in digital economy,and introduces TOE research framework,constructs theoretical model of influencing factors of cultural industry innovative development under digital economy from three dimensions of technology,organization and environment,and puts forward corresponding logical analysis hypothesis.Then,based on configuration theory,fs QCA and NCA are used to identify sufficient and necessary conditions for the innovative development of cultural industry and various configurations formed by the combination of different influencing factors.Finally,through horizontal comparative analysis of different configurations,combined with typical cases under different paths,the differentiation path of innovation and development of China’s cultural industry in digital economy is explored.The research findings are as follows: First,from the overall analysis results,all configurations that produce the results of high economic performance and high innovation performance of cultural industries are jointly determined by the combination of antecedent conditions of the three dimensions of technology,organization and environment.The change of single or partial antecedent conditions will change the overall results,which conforms to the combination of configuration theory.Second,there is no unique path to produce high economic performance and high innovation performance results of cultural industries in complex environments,that is,there are a variety of configurations that can achieve high performance results,in line with the equifinality of configuration theory.Third,there are five configurations of low economic performance and low innovation performance respectively,which are not completely symmetrical with the configurations of high economic performance and high innovation performance,that is,the reasons leading to high performance and low performance are different,in line with the characteristics of causal asymmetry.Fourth,digital technology exists largely as the core condition of the outcome;Industrial structure and scale are often used as the core conditions to produce high or low economic performance results.Technology absorption capacity is often the core condition for producing high or low innovation performance results.All of these conform to the cohesion of configuration theory.Fifthly,through the combination of horizontal comparison between configurations and typical cases,five paths for differentiated innovative development of cultural industries are summarized.The innovation of this paper has the following two points: First,the research perspective innovation.Combined with digital economy,this study starts from the perspective of configuration effect and uses the analytical framework of "technology,organization and environment" to conduct an in-depth study on the influencing factors,the linkage between antecedents and configuration,and the differentiation path selection of China’s cultural industry innovative development.Second,research method innovation.By combining fs QCA and NCA,this paper considers the configuration effect between multiple antecedent conditions and the difference of innovative development of cultural industry in different regions,breaks through the single causality model in traditional studies,and provides new ideas for studying the innovative development of Chinese cultural industry in digital economy.
