| As a pioneer of literature of the Tang Dynasty,Chen Ziang has made a significant contribution to clearing up the decadent poetic style since the Qi and the Liang dynasties and promoting the development of poetry of the Tang Dynasty.Since the Tang and the Five Dynasties,Chen Ziang has attracted much attention from all walks of life.The acceptance of Chen Ziang in the Qing Dynasty is the last stage in ancient China,which has a summary significance and value.In the past,the research on Chen Ziang in the Qing Dynasty only focused on one aspect of the phenomenon,which was not comprehensive enough.From the perspective of acceptance history,this thesis discusses the acceptance process of Chen Ziang and his poems in the Qing Dynasty.The thesis is divided into four chapters: The first chapter outlines the accepted condition of Chen Ziang’s poems before the Qing Dynasty and clarifies the acceptance characteristics of Chen Ziang’s poems before the Qing Dynasty.The second chapter combs the spread of Chen Ziang’s poetry while analyzing its channels and characteristics of dissemination during Qing Dynasty.The third chapter discusses the evaluation of Chen Ziang’s poetry in order to explore the poetic concepts of the Qing Dynasty;The fourth chapter mainly describes the acceptance to Chen Ziang in the Qing Dynasty: the controversy of character and the documentation in the local chronicles.In the Qing Dynasty,Chen Ziang’s poems were widely disseminated.Although there was little information about Chen Ziang’s poems in the Qing Dynasty,the anthologies of Chen Ziang’s poems in the anthologies of Tang poems in the Qing Dynasty showed new features,mainly as follows: In terms of quantity,there were more anthologies in the early Qing Dynasty,but fewer ones in the middle and late Qing Dynasty;From the perspective of genre,ancient poetry were given more attention in the early Qing Dynasty,while the number of ancient poetry and metrical poetry in the middle and late Qing Dynasty was roughly the same.In addition,there were a variety of contents about Chen Ziang’s poems in the collection poems of the Qing Dynasty,which are inseparable from the prosperity and development of the anthologies of Tang poems and the collection poems in the Qing Dynasty.In the Qing Dynasty,the evaluation to Chen Ziang’s poems was further improved,which can be mainly divided into four parts: The affirmation of the pioneering work of Chen Ziang’s poetry;The acceptance of Chen Ziang’s five-character ancient poetry,including the overall evaluation of the five-character ancient poetry,whether it belongs to the ancient poetry of the Han and the Wei Dynasties or the controversy of "Revivalism" and "Change" of the ancient poetry;Literary man in Qing Dynasty expressed their acceptance for Chen Ziang ’s metrical poems and stongly affirming them.Meanwhile,they pointed out the poems’ characteristics of being clear and powerful、graceful、splendid and far-reaching.What’s more,Chen Ziang was paralled with Du Shenyan,Shen Quanqi and Song Zhiwen;Besides,the literary man explored the classicization of Chen Ziang’s Gan Yu,comparing Gan Yu with other groups of poems.The acceptance of Chen Ziang’s poetry in the Qing Dynasty was flourishing.In addition,the acceptance of Chen Ziang himself in the Qing Dynasty showed new characteristics compared with the previous generation.First,the controversy over Chen Ziang’s character is more intense than that of the previous generations.Secondly,the local chronicles of the Qing Dynasty have a large number of records of Chen Ziang’s related relics,which show the Qing people’s respect for Chen Ziang from the repair and memorial of Chen Ziang’s relics. |
