| Chen Ziang is a key figure in the history of the development of the past and the literary theory in the Tang Dynasty.The poetic theory of retro represented by "Fenggu" and "Xingji" advocated by Chen Ziang seized the character of Han and Wei dynasties and changed the voice of Qi Liang,which not only had a great influence on the literary world of the early Tang Dynasty,but also reached the response of the middle Tang Dynasty.In the Middle Tang Dynasty,the society of the Tang Dynasty began to enter a new period from prosperity to decline,so the development of literature in this period also appeared a turning point,and the literati in this period had different attitudes towards Chen Ziang’s poetry.For example,Yuan Bai and Han Liu praised Chen Ziang highly and inherited his theories,and they questioned and criticized Chen Ziang’s poetics.It has been nearly a hundred years since the death of Chen Ziang,and his poetics theory still had an important influence on the creation of the contemporary literati.Through the evaluation of Chen Ziang’s poetry by the literati of Chinese Tang Dynasty,we can see his creative tendency and the changing characteristics of Chinese Tang literature theory,so as to construct the aesthetic ideal of Chinese Tang literary theory with the connotation of The Times.On the basis of previous studies,this paper intends to make an in-depth study of Chen Ziang’s poetic criticism by the central Tang Dynasty literati.In addition to the introduction,the specific contents are divided into three parts:The first part introduces and expounds the theory of Chen Ziang poetics.First of all,the background of his poetics theory of origin.In the early Tang Dynasty when Chen Ziang lived,the literary world was influenced by the style of Qi Liang,and the overall creation style was still graceful and delicate,ignoring the content and emotion of his works.In the early Tang Wen Wen intended to break,but always not its law.In this context,Chen Ziang inherited his own predecessors,combined with his own literary thoughts and experiences,and put forward his own theoretical proposition,namely,"Fenggu" and "Xingji".Secondly,the theory of "Fenggu" and "Xingji" put forward by Chen Ziang is explained in detail.At the same time,it also discusses the questions of "fu" and "change".The second part discusses the acceptance of Tang literati on Chen Ziang poetics.A total of thirteen literati in the Central Tang Dynasty expressed their views on Chen Ziang’s poetics in their works,among which there were the inheritance of their "Xingji" theory and the development of "Wenzhi" relationship.At the same time,on the issue of "fu" and "change",the Central Tang Dynasty also questioned and criticized Chen Ziang.The third part analyzes the reasons for the disagreement of Tang literati on Chen Ziang’s poetics.Although these two people are in the same place as the Middle Tang Dynasty,they live in different periods.The collision between Confucianism and Buddhism and Taoism,the different life experiences of the literati,and their acceptance of their predecessors ’creations are all the reasons for their different attitudes towards Chen Ziang’s poetics. |
