As a part of the traditional culture of the Chinese nation,seal cutting art has undergone a historical process from practical art to expressive art.The reason why seal cutting can be carried forward and well known by the public is inseparable from the inheritance and development of generations of Indians.As an indispensable part of seal cutting in the Qing Dynasty,Wu Rangzhi ’s seal style plays a connecting role.The unique charm it shows has aroused the author ’s attention and generated strong interest.This paper mainly focuses on the series of works in the "Spirit of the Northern Wilderness",which are printed,inscribed,and postscript.It is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction;the second part is the source of the creation of the work,that is,the perception of the spirit of the Great Northern Wilderness and the influence of Wu Rangzhi ’s ’ printing from the book ’ on the author ’s creation;the third part is the creative process of this work.It mainly expounds the creative performance of the printing surface,including seal cutting,knife cutting,composition,the diversity of the form of the side section and the design and application of the inscriptions.The fourth part is the creative perception of the work.The author combines the innovative road of the work with the spirit of the Great Northern Wilderness.The regional culture of Heilongjiang and the art of seal cutting reflect each other,so that the Chinese traditional culture can be carried forward and developed.
