Wang Jingzhi(1777-1855)was a scholar who lived in the Jiaqing and Daoguang periods.His writings were abundant,and he was particularly good at poetry.However,at present,there has not been a comprehensive discussion of his personality and works in the academic community.This article starts with his personal life and writings,focusing on his main creations-poetry and lyrics,and then determines the value of his works and his literary status.The paper is mainly divided into four parts:The first part focuses on Wang Jingzhi’s family background,life,friends,and writings.The family background section shows his family and family customs,and explores the reasons for his different creations from his father and brother.In the section on life and making friends,when presenting life experiences,I also discuss the main focus of the poetry collection concluded at each stage.The writing section presents his life’s works in the form of charts.The second part is the study of Wang Jingzhi’s poetry.Wang Jingzhi’s "Collection of XiaoYan" was not written at one time or another,and has been published for many times.Therefore,it is necessary to first sort out the collection process of the poetry collection.Secondly,it classifies and studies his poems according to their themes,specifically divided into five categories:suffering of the people’s livelihood,chanting history and nostalgia for the ancients,expressing feelings for mountains and rivers,paying tribute to songs in elegant collections,and textual research on gold and stone;Then,from the perspective of style,content,and technique,this paper evaluates and analyzes his poetry as a whole to explore its artistic characteristics.The third part is the study of Wang Jingzhi’s Ci,which is divided into three categories from the perspective of subject matter and content:chanting objects and inscribing paintings,taking trips,sending gifts,and answering questions.Secondly,it focuses on the analysis of the artistic characteristics of his Ci poems,that is,to establish them with emotion and to imply them with images;The reality and emptiness coexist,creating an exquisite environment;"melting halal into beauty".At the same time,his Ci poems showed a tendency of "Ci by scholars" in the Qing Dynasty,mainly reflected in the equal emphasis on emotion and rhyme,advocating elegance but not flashiness,and integrating knowledge into Ci.The fourth part is an overall evaluation of Wang Jingzhi’s literary value and status.From the perspective of the content of his works,his works have a regional color of Gaoyou,and he is called "the propagandist of Gaoyou culture" from the perspective of "the nourishment and feedback of Gaoyou culture".From the perspective of its overall creative style,its works demonstrate the elegant characteristics of the Zhejiang School,and break through the traditional orientation of the Zhejiang School in terms of rhythm,temperament,and other aspects.Therefore,it is referred to as the "New Changer of the Zhejiang School Transition". |
