Documentaries are objective records and reproductions of real social life,showing various cultural phenomena of human society.Documentaries are a way to express human emotions and spread national culture,and they reveal the real life profoundly through artistic techniques.The works contain the creators’ thoughts on social reality and deep excavation of humanistic spirit,and also deeply reflect the dual pursuit of emotional value and cultural value of documentaries.At the same time,documentaries disseminated with the advantages of new media have changed the traditional mode of documentary creation.Based on the theories of narrative science,film art and documentary creation,this paper discusses the narrative art of documentaries on non-foreign heritage themes,and completes the creation of the graduation work documentary "Drift" under the guidance of relevant theories and excellent practical works.The research is divided into two parts:the creation of the documentary and the thesis.The creation of the documentary is based on the practical perspective,using the documentary method to record the maintenance process of the sheepskin raft,the usage method and the life condition of the rafters in different periods,enhancing the artistry and humanism on the basis of authenticity.The thesis,on the other hand,provides theoretical support for the work through theoretical research on the narrative art of documentaries on non-heritage topics.It analyzes the narrative art characteristics and creative features of the graduation work "Drift" from a theoretical perspective,and provides a complete analysis and explanation of the work from the level of narrative art.In the introductory part,this paper briefly outlines the creation background of the work and the value of the selected topic of the work,and at the same time,the documentary on non-foreign heritage topics is broadly sorted out and its concepts,types and characteristics are elaborated.The first chapter discusses several conventional narrative themes of non-foreign heritage documentaries in the context of related documentary works,and studies the narrative vehicle,narrative core and narrative theme of these documentaries.The second chapter explores several types of structures of documentaries on non-foreign heritage topics from the perspective of narrative structure,and examines in detail the different functions of different structures in the documentary narratives.The third chapter takes the narrative perspective of non-foreign heritage documentaries as the core of the study,and explores the different roles of different narrative perspectives in the non-foreign heritage documentaries.Chapter 4 starts from the specific narrative language to study the influence of various audiovisual languages on the narrative level of documentaries on non-heritage topics.Chapter 5 summarizes and reflects on the creative experience of the graduation work "Drift".It integrates personal creative practice in the basic research and summarizes professional experience related to the filming and production of documentaries on non-heritage subjects from the process of actual creation of the work,further deepens his theoretical research,clarifies the importance of narrative art to documentaries on non-heritage subjects,and makes a modest contribution to the inheritance,protection and development of non-heritage culture including sheepskin raft from both theoretical and practical aspects.
