Research On The Creation Of Plant Morphological Expression In Contemporary Ceramic Art

In contemporary ceramics creation,works that use plant forms as the object of expression form a unique style of works.They not only embody the performance characteristics of plant forms in modeling methods and decorative styles,but also present rich clay language,which is a symbol of inner spirit and meaning of life,conveying people’s aesthetic personality and pursuit of spiritual world.From the perspective of botanical aesthetics and contemporary aesthetics,this paper analyzes the expressions and artistic characteristics of botanical pottery,and explores the aesthetic interest in it,taking into account the phenomenon of botanical works created by international potters and referring to relevant theoretical studies.Through the expression and shaping of botanical forms by potters,different expressions of natural life are shown,containing not only material beauty and formal beauty,but also inner humanity and emotion.Through the creative practice of the "Grass and Wood" series,the author explores the artistry and naturalness of the expression of plant forms in contemporary ceramic art,highlighting the reverence for vitality.In a sense,these works are also the link between people and plants,through the creation of plants to look at themselves and express their personal nature and emotions.
