The Expression Of "Imagery Interest" In Contemporary Ceramic Art Creation

Starting from the category of Chinese classical aesthetics,this article discusses the interest of "image" and the development of contemporary ceramic art,exploring the philosophical debate between Chinese image and Chinese ceramic art.As far as the field of ceramic art is concerned,contemporary Chinese ceramic art has been expanding its territory in the field of promoting the Chinese spirit,especially in the process of modernization.Chinese ceramic art has gradually moved away from the traditional ceramic art that is criticized and unchanging from ancient times,towards innovation,highlighting the self trust of Chinese civilization.Now Chinese ceramists are also constantly exploring deeper issues,such as how to extract essence from Chinese traditional culture and how to create contemporary Chinese ceramic culture.Li Zehou also proposed the concept of "modernization transformation" of traditional culture,which means borrowing from the past to open up the present.The Chinese nation has a unique aesthetic and cultural connotation.Taking local culture as the starting point for creation and grasping the balance between traditional and contemporary cultural concepts can make the development of contemporary Chinese ceramic art take a sustainable path.The inspiration for my graduation creation is based on my love for traditional Chinese culture.In the process of practice,I gradually discovered that my aesthetic inclination carries traditional Chinese cultural forms.The traditional element symbols,whether they are the classics of mountains and seas,calligraphy,painting,or humanistic concepts,give the author unlimited imagination space.For the exploration and practice of this creation,first of all,analyze the concept of Chinese image category and contemporary ceramic art,then study the imagery of contemporary ceramic art and the impact of imagery on contemporary ceramic art,then explore the expression forms of imagery ceramic art,analyze contemporary ceramic art works with typical significance,and finally apply the theoretical results of the study to practice.
