The Embodiment Of Taoist Aesthetics In Contemporary Ceramic Art

Taoist aesthetics is the starting point of Chinese classical aesthetics.Its aesthetic category and aesthetic mind have a great impact on many fields of fine arts,poetry,architecture and so on in China's later ages,and even set the basic understanding and style pursuit of aesthetics of the Chinese nation for thousands of years,which is still far-reaching.Today,the artists of numerous schools of ceramic art are free in thought and their work's styles are diverse,but we can still see the embodiment of Taoist aesthetic concept in contemporary ceramic art.Through the analysis of the embodiment of Taoist aesthetics in different art categories,I attempt to think about the integration of Taoist aesthetics in the creation of my work"Nibbling series No.4",and finish it by using modern skills and materials,so as to better combine the traditional aesthetic though and Contemporary art concept,and to explore a way of our own ceramic art out of many schools of ceramic art.
