| In the thousands of years of development of ceramic art from ancient times to today,along with the integration and mutual influence of many other art categories,the origin of ceramics and literature can no longer be traced back.However,as the unique Chinese traditional culture,the two still have a value and significance for contemporary aesthetic education that cannot be ignored.In different historical periods,the interaction of spiritual civilization and material civilization together created the vigorous development of Chinese ceramics.Ceramic art in each period reflected the social atmosphere,skill level and cultural connotation of that time to some extent,including the edification from literary works.With the development of The Times and the progress of science and technology,although ceramic art has changed from arts and crafts to modern art,modern pottery creation can also draw sufficient nourishment from the Chinese classical literature works across the ages to create works with distinct styles and features.The common aesthetic essence makes classical literature provide inspiration for modern pottery.Based on this premise,this paper summarizes and analyzes representative pottery works in modern pottery art that are related to the themes of Chinese classical literature,and analyzes how ceramic creators refined and transformed the themes of classical literature into their own pottery works,and at the same time made them have their own unique ceramic language for contemporary expression.As well as the uniqueness of the development of modern Chinese ceramic art reflected by this kind of works and the role it played in the development of modern ceramic art,combined with my cognition and reflection of theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the creation practice,This paper probes into the application of modern pottery art combined with the theme of Chinese classical literature in local language and its unique features and aesthetic meaning in contemporary expression. |
