| In the 17 th to 18 th centuries,there was frequent trade and exchange between Eastern and Western porcelain,and the "tiger pattern image" colored porcelain,which carried excellent traditional culture and artistic heritage,played an important role as a medium.On the basis of borrowing and learning from the late Ming and early Qing dynasty colored porcelain,Japan combined its own national characteristics to develop and evolve,and formed a colored porcelain style mainly composed of tiger pattern image elements-the Kakiemon Gate style.The tiger pattern image of Kakiemon Gate Kiln is based on the tiger pattern image of Jingdezhen Kiln,and shows distinct differences in the cultural and artistic exchange of ceramics between China and Japan.This paper mainly compares the theme feature design,artistic feature design and cultural connotation of tiger pattern images on Chinese and Japanese colored porcelain,combs out the similarities and differences,and then combines the different cultural contexts and ceramic art aesthetics of the two,analyzes the design thinking of tiger pattern images in the form of representation and deep connotation,and puts forward corresponding views and summaries.The article is divided into four parts.The first part introduces the origin and development of tigers and tiger pattern images,with a focus on explaining the development of tiger pattern images on colored porcelain in China and Japan from the17 th to the 18 th century.The reason why tiger pattern images on colored porcelain were popular was because their connotations were in line with the cultural and artistic trends of the Chinese and Japanese ethnic groups at that time;The second part analyzes the theme design features of tiger pattern images on Chinese and Japanese colored porcelain.By combining themes,on the one hand,the tiger pattern image of Jingdezhen kiln with imagery features inherits the characteristics of traditional Chinese art in terms of themes.On the other hand,there is a formalized tiger pattern image of the Kakiemon kiln,based on the theme of Chinese porcelain.Through continuous exploration and creation by porcelain painters,new ethnic characteristics have emerged.Analyze the characteristics of theme design to clarify the diverse expressions between Chinese and Japanese ceramic art;The third part elaborates on the artistic design features of tiger pattern images on Chinese and Japanese colored porcelain from the 17 th to 18 th centuries.Compare colors,composition,and lines to identify similarities and differences between the two,and explore the different aesthetic cognition and awareness behind them.Analyzing the characteristics of art design aims to clarify the differences in aesthetic appreciation between Chinese and Japanese ceramic art;The fourth part explores the cultural connotations presented by the tiger pattern images of Chinese and Japanese colored porcelain,analyzes the commonalities and differences between the two,and their specific manifestations.Through the case study of the "tiger pattern image" on Chinese and Japanese colored porcelain,it is possible to understand the audience’s acceptance level,aesthetic trends,and values,which is of great significance for improving the cultural dissemination ability of porcelain today and making it an effective cultural carrier to enhance the influence of Chinese culture.From a cross-cultural perspective,exploring the ceramic decoration design thinking under the influence of the cultural background and context of China and Japan can also be a useful supplement to the comparative study of the patterns of Chinese and Japanese colored porcelain. |
