An Exploration Of The Singing Techniques Of Ancient Chinese Poetry And Songs

Ancient Chinese poetry has long been an integral part of our long history and culture.With the development of the times,ancient poetry has gradually been combined with modern music,bursting into a new lustre and forming a new art,which can be described as an innovation in line with the trend of the times.By combining the two through new vocal concepts and creative techniques,using the best traditional Chinese poetry and fusing it with Western compositional techniques to create new Chinese poetry songs,reflecting the artistic charm of ancient Chinese poetry songs,this is undoubtedly not a kind of inheritance of the best Chinese traditional culture.The ancient poems are about the beauty of rhythm and rhyme,which requires a high degree of unity between the rhythm of the melody and the poem,and the harmony of the accompaniment needs to be combined with the mood of the time to restore the beauty of the atmosphere created at that time,to show the charm of the poem to a great extent,and then through the singer’s deep understanding of the poem and the melody to create the second degree,so that the perfect interpretation.This also requires the singers to improve the quality of their singing and interpretation,so that the audience can hear the songs adapted from these ancient poems and feel the "deafening" emotions of the ancient Chinese poems in their subtle expressions,to the maximum extent possible.Chinese ancient poetry shows the charm of China’s excellent traditional culture,and Chinese ancient poetry songs have a very high status in the development of Chinese music.Only when the singer infuses it into the soul and deeply understands the connotation and rhythm of the song can Chinese ancient poetry songs be inherited and developed,allowing more and more people to experience Chinese traditional culture by listening to Chinese ancient poetry songs.In this article,I will analyse the artistic features and singing techniques of two ancient poetry songs,"Hairpin Head Phoenix" and "Jiangchengzi",to study their artistic characteristics and creative features,and to draw out the literary charm of ancient poetry songs,in order to help students who sing these two vocal works.
