Quality education is an important educational concept for the training of talents in the country.Quality education not only attaches importance to the cultivation of certain subject competencies, but also to the cultivation of comprehensive personal qualities, one of the elements of which is to improve the level of action control of individuals in order to act positively in the face of stressful and demanding situations.According to the action control theory, individuals with strong action control tend to act positively to solve problems in different situations, while individuals with weaker action control often hindered their performance and accomplishment by being overly hindered by negative emotions and by expending more cognitive resources on current stresses and demands.Family parenting styles have a significant impact on the formation of action control in individuals,so the purpose of this study was to examine the effects of anxious rearing on the level of action control in the failure state and the decision state.According to cognitive-behavioral theory, individuals’ behavioral performance is mediated by cognitive styles and beliefs, and in failure and decision situations individuals often need to deal with the perception of "uncertainty" and social support theory suggests that in difficult situations, the social support that individuals feel from others can weaken the bad feeling and can lead to more optimal problem solving. This study examines the effects of anxiety parenting on the level of action control in different states, and the mediating role of intolerant uncertainty in the effects of anxiety parenting on the level of action control in failure and decision states and the moderating role of perceived social support in this process. This study used the Anxious Rearing Scale, the Action Control Scale, the Perceived Social Support Scale, and the Intolerable of Uncertainty Scale to survey 1239 college subjects at five universities in Sichuan Province, then, perform statistical analysis on the obtained data.and using PROCESS macro-system analysis to explore the effect of anxious rearing on the level of action control in a failed, decision state,as well as the mediating role of intolerance of uncertainty in the process of this effect and the moderating role of perceived social support in the first half of the mediating model, with the final findings indicating that.(1): Anxious rearing, and the level of action control in a failed, decision state, intolerant of uncertainty, and perceived social support were partially significantly different on gender, grade, profession, and annual household income demographic variables.(2): Anxious rearing was significantly and positively related to the intolerant of uncertainty and negatively related to the action control level in failure and decision state and perceived social support process;intolerant of uncertainty was significantly and negatively related to the action control level in failure and decision state and perceived social support.(3): Intolerable of uncertainty mediated the relationship between anxious rearing and the level of control actions in the failure and decision states.(4): The moderating effect of perceived social support on the path from anxious rearing to intolerant of uncertainty was significant, and the moderating effect of high perceived social support was greater than that of low perceived social support. The results of this study: Anxious rearing was strongly associated with the level of action control in failure and decision states among college students, and that individuals with high anxious rearing were more likely to exhibit low levels of action control by being indecisive, thoughtful, and erratic in either situation;anxious rearing may influence the level of action control in failure and decision states through intolerant of uncertainty. Therefore,we can intervene to improve the action control level of college students by adjusting their perceptions of "uncertainty";Perceiving social support may mitigate the effect of anxious rearing on intolerant of uncertainty,Therefore,we can mitigate the negative effects of anxious rearing by enhancing college students’ ability to appreciate social support.
