Research On The Development Path Of China’s Characteristic Towns In The Context Of Cultural Tourism Integration

Since 2016,China’s characteristic towns have been cultivated centrally,and have experienced a booming wave of construction,a confusing and disorienting problematic emergence phase,and a standardized and corrective reform precipitation nationwide,and are now at a critical stage of optimizing and upgrading towards high-quality development.In general,the construction of characteristic towns has achieved certain results,accumulated rich development experience,and built a number of high-quality characteristic towns with more comprehensive development.However,there are still some problems in the construction of China’s characteristic towns that need to be solved in terms of development concepts and operational practices.In the process of construction practice,local characteristic towns are also constantly innovating their development ideas and updating their development strategies,in order to seek development paths that can promote the high-quality construction goals of China’s characteristic towns.In 2018,Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China formally established,opening a new chapter in the integration of culture and tourism in China.The innovative development of cultural tourism integration has undoubtedly opened up new ideas for the construction of China’s characteristic towns,and due to the close correlation between cultural tourism integration and characteristic towns and the importance of tourism development in characteristic towns,cultural tourism integration is profoundly influencing characteristic towns both conceptually and practically.The development concepts of integrated development,cultural empowerment,tourism development,IP creation and other development strategies have provided effective guidance for the efficient upgrading of China’s characteristic towns,and the characteristic towns have become the ’practice base’ for the integration of cultural tourism.This article is divided into an introductory section and five chapters,which explore the development path of China’s characteristic towns through the integration of culture and tourism.The introductory section includes the background,purpose,significance of the study,current status of the study,research ideas,research methodology,definition of relevant concepts and theoretical elaboration;The first chapter firstly reviews the development history of China’s characteristic towns,and then studies the influencing factors of the development of China’s characteristic towns by applying the PEST analysis,exploring the impact of cultural and tourism integration on the development of China’s characteristic towns completing an analysis of the growth environment for the development of China’s characteristic towns;Chapter 2 analyzes the existing development model of China’s characteristic towns from two aspects:development and operation of China’s characteristic towns;Chapter 3 starts from the development and management of China’s characteristic towns,puts forward the main problems such as lack of individual characteristics and insufficient integration of culture and tourism,and analyzes the factors generating the main problems of China’s characteristic towns such as inadequate preparation for town building and imbalanced resource allocation;Chapter 4 focuses on typical cases of integrated development of cultural tourism in China’s characteristic towns,selecting Honggaoliang Town,Shunde Town and Zhouzhuang Town as research objects,analyzing their development advantages and development problems,and summarizing the development experience of the cases;Chapter 5 examines the development paths of China’s characteristic towns in the context of cultural and tourism integration,basic development,and diversified development.
