Research On The Dissemination And Transmutation Of Wang Bo’s Poems And Prose In Tang And Song Dynasties

This paper is mainly divided into four chapters.The first chapter sorts out the dissemination of Wang Bo’s poetry and prose in the Tang and Song Dynasties from the perspective of dissemination subject and dissemination media.During this period,Wang Bo’s poetry and prose communication realized the change of the subject and the transformation of the medium.The main body of the communication changed from the author himself to the editor of the anthology,while the communication medium changed from the scrolls written on the banknotes to the inscribed albums,from the inscriptions carved on the stone to bibliography of epigraphy.The second chapter focuses on the two major carriers of Wang Bo’s poetry and prose – "Wang Bo Ji" and "Wenyuan Yinghua",and combs the process of Wang Bo’s poetry and prose in combination with the compilation and dissemination of the anthology.In the Tang Dynasty,the "Wang Bo Ji" compiled by the brothers Wang Ju and Wang Zhu was preserved in the court,and it was also spread to Japan and Dunhuang,where it was widely circulated.But after the Song Dynasty,this collection did not exist.When later generations recompiled the collection of Wang Bo’s works,most of them got funding from "Wenyuan Yinghua".From the Tang Dynasty to the Song Dynasty,"Wenyuan Yinghua" became an important carrier for the preservation of Wang Bo’s poetry and prose.The third chapter discusses Wang Bo’s lost and compiled poems on the basis of extensive collection of lost articles,and explores the changes in the style of Wang Bo’s poems in the process of dissemination.Wang Bo’s lost writings found in Tang banknotes and stone inscriptions are mainly inscriptions and prefaces.Combining these lost writings,we can have a more comprehensive understanding of Wang Bo’s travels,friendships and literary creations.The fourth chapter focuses on the transmutation of the text in the process of communication,and analyzes the influence of the transmutation of the text on the understanding of Wang Bo’s poetry and prose from a microscopic perspective.The transmutation of the text is mainly manifested in the falling off of function words,the change of title and the change of text.The fall-off of function words strengthens the parallel characteristics of the article,the change of the title affects the definition of the content of the poem,and the change of some words comes from the separation and combination of the poem and the prefaces.
