In August 2021,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and The State Council issued the Suggestions on further reducing the burden of homework and off-campus training for students in compulsory education,all schools are required to further improve the quality of teaching,shorten the time for written homework,improve the quality of homework design,and assign homework scientifically and reasonably.At the same time,local schools should do a good job of publicity and guide students to make good use of free online high-quality education resources.The 2022 Version of English Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education also proposes that teachers should make reasonable use of digital technology and online teaching platforms to carry out integrated online and offline teaching,so as to provide support for students’ personalized learning needs.In view of the current primary school English teaching,the teaching form of "full class teaching + students copying and memorizing after class" is still the mainstream.This kind of teaching form ignores the principal role of students,makes classroom teaching lacks of interaction,homework becomes tanglesome and inefficiency,students lack interest in learning,quality of homework can not be guaranteed,the teaching effect is hard to reach the target expected.Therefore,it is necessary to adapt to the development of intelligent education and promote the reform of English teaching in primary schools with the breakthrough of informatization.This paper takes the application of blended teaching in primary school English as the research object and adopts a variety of research methods to carry out the research.Firstly,literature research method.Through combing the relevant literature,this paper summarizes the valuable theoretical basis of the subject.Secondly,through in-depth interviews and questionnaire investigations,analyze the problems existing in traditional English teaching in primary schools and the advantages of blended teaching,to provide basis for “online + offline” blended teaching design.On this basis,MOOC platform and Homework APP are selected as the technical support for the blended teaching in this paper,and a blended teaching mode based on MOOC platform and Homework APP is designed,including teaching preparation,teaching process and teaching evaluation.Thirdly,case study method.Through case studies,use the blended teaching model based on MOOC platform and Homework APP to do the teaching practice in the English courses in Class 2,Grade 5 in WEDZ experimental primary school.After the practice,analysis the process evaluation,summative evaluation and activity organization evaluation of students’ learning situation in Class 2,Grade 5,verifying its validity,summarizing the feedback and putting forward the improving policies. |
