Xiacun Town belongs to Zezhou County,Jincheng City,Shanxi Province, with many mountainous areas, and the language environment is relatively closed.According to The Languages Atlas of China(Second Edition)(2012),the Xiacun dialect belongs to the Jin dialect region of Shangdang section of Jincheng sub-clusters.As far as the existing research is concerned, the research on the tone of dialect of Xiacun Town is relatively weak.Based on the field investigation materials and existing related research results,on the basis of traditional dialect research methods, combined with experimental phonetics methods to assist, this paper deeply excavates the characteristics of Xiacun dialect monosyllabic tones, summarizes the bisyllabic tone sandhi and trisyllabic tone sandhi of Xiacun dialect, analyze the special phonetics change phenomenon, explore the relationship between monosyllabic tone and continuous tone, and try to analyze the factors that affect the tone change of Xiacun dialect,in order to comprehensively demonstrate the tonal laws and characteristics of Xiacun dialect. The article is divided into six parts. The first part mainly introduces the history, geography and dialect of Xiacun Town in Zezhou County, briefly reviews the previous research achievements and shortcomings, and explains the research significance, methods, material sources and pronunciation partners of this paper. The second part mainly sorts out the phonetic system of Xiacun dialect, analyzes the tone type and tone value, compares it with the tones of the Middle Ages, discusses the ancient and modern evolution law of Xiacun dialect tones. The third part mainly analyzes the bisyllabic tone sandhi of Xiacun dialect. This part mainly analyzes the bisyllabic tone sandhi from two aspects: the bisyllabic tone sandhi that contains the neutral tone and the bisyllabic tone sandhi that does not contain the neutral tone. The fourth part mainly analyzes the trisyllabic tone sandhi of Xiacun dialect. On the basis of analyzing the law of bisyllabic tone sandhi, this paper discusses the trisyllabic tone sandhi in the two modes of "2+1" and "1+2",summarizes the rules, and makes a simple comparison and the relationship between the bisyllabic tone sandhi. The fifth part mainly analyze the special phonetics change phenomenon of Xiacun dialect–tone change induced by er-suffixation and zi-ending.Discuss the two types of non-overlapping er-suffixation tone changes,"A儿A儿","AA儿"and"AA儿呢"overlapping er-suffixation tone changes, and analyze the expressions of zi-ending in Mandarin Chinese in dialects. On the basis of the previous research, the sixth part briefly analyzes the factors that affect the tone sandhi of Xiacun dialect from the aspects of phonetics and grammar.Through analysis,it is found that: in terms of monosyllabic tones,Xiacun dialect does not have independent Ru tone, the characters of Ru tone have been completely Shuhua when they are read alone, the final glottal stop is lost. The Ru tone is classified into the Yinping tone and the Qu tone in the original tone system.Among them, the Qingru characters are mostly classified into the Yinping tone, and the Quanzhuoru and Cizhuoru is classified into the Yinping tone and the Qu tone. There is no obvious rule.In terms of the tone change of the bisyllabic tone sandhi, the former character plays a more important role when the dialect changes tone, usually the former character has a tone change;the degree of mode confluence is high;the same tone type combination often corresponds to a variety of tonal changes; After the continuous tune, there is a situation of Ping tone regardless of yin and yang;there are abundant neutral words in dialects, and there is still a tendency for further expansion;the tone value of neutral sounds does not change with the change of the tone value of the former word, and it becomes 2 tones after all the tones. In terms of the trisyllabic tone sandhi, the modes of "2+1" and "1+2" trisyllable in dialects basically complete the tone change on the basis of the bisyllabic tone sandhi. There are two types of er-suffixation tone changes in dialects, and they are in the process of transitioning from root tone to natural descending tone. There are few zi-suffixes in dialects, and zi-suffixes in Mandarin are often replaced by tone change. The innovations of this paper are as follows: On the basis of traditional listening analysis, combined with experimental phonetics methods, the tones of Xiacun dialect are studied, which provides new materials for the study of Zezhou dialect and Jincheng dialect; It is the first time to do a more comprehensive and systematic study on the tone change of the dialect in Xiacun Town, excavate the characteristics of dialect tone change, and summarize the relationship between the monosyllabic tone and the tone sandhi; On the basis of summarizing the rules of tone sandhi, this paper attempt to analyze the factors that affect the tone changes of the Xiacun dialects from the aspects of pronunciation and vocabulary. This paper still needs to make further in-depth investigation and analysis of the influencing factors of the tone change of consecutive readings, and consider the influence of other factors on the tone sandhi of the dialect,in order to analyze the tonal appearance of the Xiacun dialect more comprehensively and in-depth.
