In the Northern Dynasty,Women of The Hu boldly and frankly expressed their love and yearning for their beloved.They have a strong sense of Selfmeaning,before marriage they have the right to choose who to marry,after marriage they can decide various family affairs.In addition,they are jealous and their concept of chastity is very weak,sexual ideas are very open.At the same time,the rulers and public opinion of the Northern Dynasty gradually strengthened the trend of female chastity,which to a large extent affected the view of chastity of the upper-class Hu women,and some noble women of the Hu began to have a more distinct view of chastity.In the Northern Wei Dynasty,the marriage objects of the Royal women included the defectors who from the Southern dynasties,the aristocratic from Dai region,relatives,the nobles from central plain and the courtier.The non-royal Xianbei nobles women mainly intermarried with the imperial clan of the Northern Wei Dynasty and other Xianbei nobles,and rarely intermarried with the elites from central plain.During this period,close marriage relationship was formed between in non-royal Xianbei nobles or between non-royal Xianbei nobles and the royal.The late northern wei dynasty,the women of the Hu who stayed in Dai region or Six Garrisons mainly married the nobles of Six Garrisons and Dai region,and they were excluded from the marriage circle of Xianbei nobles and Han nobles in Luoyang.In addition,the similar situation and the similar geographical location led to the formation of a close marriage network between Dai Di and Six Garrisons,and gradually formed a marriage circle between Dai region and Six Garrisons.In the Eastern Wei Dynasty and Western Wei Dynasty,the intermarriage objects of the Royal women were mainly the nobles of Six Garrisons,the nobles of Guanlong,the aristocratic from Dai region and the nobles from Guandong.The intermarriage objects of Yuwen women are the members of Guanlong Bloc and their descendants.The intermarriage between Yuwen women and members of Guanlong Bloc is an important means for Yuwentai to implement the Guanlong First Policy and consolidate Guanlong Bloc.In addition,the Hu women from Huishuo town or Wuchuan town who’s marrying objects are still mainly nobles from Huishuo town or Wuchuan town,and their marriage circle shows a strong Sealing.In the Northern Dynasty,the marriageable age of the upper-class Hu women was mainly between 12 and 17 years old,and 14 or 15 years old were the peak of marriage.Then criteria for selecting a marriage partner were political needs,family background,ability,personal charm and village relations.After the reform of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty,family status gradually became an important criterion for the upper-class Hu women.In the Northern Dynasty,the emotional life of the upper-class Hu women after marriage was varied,and divorce and remarriage were frequent.In addition,Buddhism was prevalent in the Northern Dynasty,with frequent wars and social turmoil.Many upper-class Hu women often chose to become Nuns after their marriages broke down due to political struggles and personal emotions.Finally,in the period of Eastern Wei and Northern Qi,the marriage objects of the upper-class Hu women were mainly the Hu ethnic group or the Han who were Hu Hua.Therefore,only from the perspective of marriage,the relationship between Hu nobles and Han nobles was not close,which may be caused by the conflict between Hu and Han.
