Xiao Hong is one of the most important female writers in the history of modern Chinese literature.She was born in Hulan City,Heilongjiang Province in 1911 and died in Hong Kong in 1942 at the age of 31.But in this short journey of life,she left nearly a million words of creative results.Modern Chinese literature is an organic whole,with a large number of famous writers.Compared with "Lu Guo Mao Ba Lao Cao" and other writers,Xiao Hong’s position in the history of literature and even the history of criticism is relatively marginal.However,her rough life circumstances and unique writing style have aroused many readers and researchers’ strong interest.The study of Xiao Hong has been 90 years since her death,and she has become an indispensable writer in the history of modern Chinese literature.The open and inclusive academic atmosphere in the new century has made breakthroughs in the theoretical vision and research methods of Xiao Hong’s research.The perspective of social politics is no longer the mainstream paradigm of research.The aesthetic perspective,feminist literary criticism,comparative research and cultural research are constantly innovating and developing.The research methods are rich and varied,and some important issues are explained and interpreted more rationally and fairly.This paper,with the title of "Review of Xiao Hong’s Research in the Twenty Years of the New Century",systematically reviews Xiao Hong’s research achievements since the beginning of the new century based on the principle of problem awareness and overall sorting,presents the research context,research hotspots and existing disputes,and expands the new space for Xiao Hong’s research.This paper is mainly composed of introduction,text and conclusion.Introduction: it mainly summarizes the proposal,research significance and innovation of the topic.Starting with the evolution,key turning point and some important problems of Xiao Hong’s research results,this paper tries to restore the overall general picture and internal changes of Xiao Hong’s research,which provides a basis for the research of Xiao Hong in the new century.Chapter one: "Xiao Hong’s works towards in-depth interpretation".With Xiao Hong’s representative works "The Field of Life and Death" and "The Story of Hulan River" as the core,the re-interpretation and in-depth interpretation of Xiao Hong’s works since the new century are sorted out.The pluralistic and open academic environment in the new century has brought a new atmosphere to the research."Anti-Japanese War,revolution,left-wing,northeast Exile" is no longer the only criterion for evaluation,and "tragedy consciousness" and "life consciousness" have become the focus of the research.There are also new interpretations and reflections on the loneliness theory and the decline of the later works represented by The Biography of Hulan River.These studies show distinct characteristics of the new century,and philosophical speculation and cultural aesthetics reach a new height.Chapter two: "Xiao Hong’s research from the perspective of multi-dimensional theory".Literature itself is a pluralistic collection,so it is necessary to carry out multi-dimensional critical research in order to have a more comprehensive understanding of the complex form of literature.Since the beginning of the new century,criticism theory,research methods and perspectives have been constantly innovated,and Xiao Hong’s study has achieved fruitful results in feminist literary criticism,Sino-foreign comparative studies,psychological studies and cultural studies.This chapter takes feminist literary criticism and comparative study as the core and examines Xiao Hong’s research in a multi-dimensional theoretical perspective.Chapter three: A study of Xiao Hong’s biography.Taking "biography",an important part of Xiao Hong’s research,as the object,this paper discusses the ideas and values that Xiao Hong’s biography writing and biography criticism have provided to the shaping of Xiao Hong’s image and the interpretation of Xiao Hong’s literary works since the new century.Conclusion: "Xiao Hong’s research reflection and current value".Based on the above relevant Xiao Hong studies since the beginning of the new century,this paper puts forward the existing problems in the research by taking examples,and summarizes and reflects on the research results.
