Xiao Hong And Jiang Beloved Novel Comparative Study

The thesis is a comparative research about Xiao Hong and Kang Kyung Ae's novel, who were respectively famous during 1930s in China and South Korea. The research on the method selectes parallel study of comparative literature, comparing Xiao Hong and Kang Kyung Ae's masterpiece "The Place of Living and Death" and "The Human Problem" as the main text.The thesis consisted of four parts. In the introduction, expounded that the selected topic reason, the research goal and the significance, summarize the achievement which formerly studied and propose the research technique.In the second part, inspected the time background and life experiences to Xiao Hong and Kang Kyung Ae, simultaneously analyzed their literature view and the world outlook formation.The third part to each of Xiao Hong and Kang Kyung Ae beloved masterpiece "The Place of Living and Death" and "The Human Problem" as the center to compare the characteristics of the novel. First, in the theme aspect, inspect the colonial rule people's poverty-stricken life which in two works appears, under the feudual society male power system feminine pitiful destiny, promulgates the people with to revolt facing new life awakening, with the aim of analyzing the people to the life understanding. Second, in character disposition aspect, the feminine character who is taken to the threshing ground two works in divides into the traditional female and the modern female, does the masculine character divide into the positive male and the negative male carries on the disposition to compare, how analyzes these character's disposition to change manifests and reflects the subject.
