| Mulberry closely related to human production and life.It’s fruit is edible.It’s leaves can be used to feed silkworms and make silk.Mulberry entered the vision of the literati,through its artistic processing,produced the theme of Mulberry-picking literature.The Mulberry-picking theme literature includes all the literary works involving the plot of mulberry-picking.This paper focus on the literature of Mulberry-picking theme in the pre-Tang Dynasty,and explore the development and causes of the theme of Mulberrypicking,in order to clarify the aesthetic changes and emotional expression of the literati to mulberry in different periods.The full text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly analyzes the background and formation of the development literature of the pre-Tang Dynasty.Influenced by the ancestors’ concept of "animism",mulberry was given certain cultural symbolic significance,which is reflected through ancient customs such as pray for rain,sacrifice to the gods,and dating between men and women.In the ancient farming society dominated by natural economy,sericulture industry was the lifeblood of economic development.The collection of mulberry tax rose along with the development of sericulture industry,and the rise and fall of sericulture industry also affected the development of silk trade.In this context,sericulture culture entered the view of literati,and various works of mulberry appeared:mulberry is feminine in mythology;In the Book of Songs,mulberry is used as lenovo things,The authenticity of the mulberry life is restored;In Ci fu,description of Mulberry-picking gradually artistic.The second chapter explores development of different themes in the literature of Mulberry-picking theme in the pre-Tang Dynasty,mainly include the themes of farming,love and morality.The theme of agriculture is divided into two categories: describing the beauty of agriculture and agricultural sacrifice.The works of describing the agriculture beauty describe the beautiful mulberry-picking scenery,pleasant mulberry-picking labor scene mostly.It mainly highlights the beauty of picking mulberry labor.The work of agricultural sacrifice focuses on the description of the sacrificial behavior before sericulture,especially the sacrificial behavior of imperial concubine.The love and moral themes are divided into three categories: amorous love and lovesickness;the praise of women’s virtue;the combine of love and virtue.The first category focus on showing male and female love and love sickness.The second category focus to praise the woman’s mulberry behavior,and take whether to take mulberry as the standard of evaluating female virtue.The third category includes love and virtue in content.The third chapter explore the evolution and reasons of the image of mulberry women in the Mulberry-picking theme literature before the Tang Dynasty.The evolution of mulberry-picking women shows these characteristics: they were modesty and decorum in the pre-Qin period;in the Han Dynasty,they were beautiful,kind and rigorously chaste;in the Wei and Jin Dynasties,they showed sentimentalizing spring and loyalty;in the Southern and Northern Dynasties,they were amorous and lovesickness.Behind the evolution of the mulberry women image is the result of the change of chastity concept,the change of aesthetic fashion,the change of creative concept and the diversity of the mulberry female identity.The fourth chapter explores the creation style of the pre-Tang Dynasty Mulberrypicking literature and its development in the later literature.The creative style of the Mulberry-picking theme literature is: emphasize agricultural mulberry is the first in prose,and expression skills are gradually enriched in poetry.In later literature,the inheritance and development to the Mulberry-picking theme literature before Tang Dynasty is shown as follows.The Tang and Song dynasties poetry has deepened its content;Song Ci expanded the description of charming feelings;The opera adapted the stories from the theme of Mulberry-picking in the pre-Tang Dynasty.From the development of Mulberry-picking theme literature,we can not only see the change from realistic agricultural activities to aesthetic activities with emotional orientation,but also see the progressive track of agricultural activities after entering literature. |
