Picking First Tang Poetry

Picking is the basic behavior of human life, and it is closely related with the daily life. With the development of society and literary arts, the behavior of picking reflects the literature with picking images and harvesting portry.In the history of Chinese poetry, there is a large number of picking poetry. This paper is based on the picking poetry before Tang Dynasty, which includes the behavior of picking and images of that. The development process of the picking poetry before Tang is dicussed in the paper, also the classification of the picking peotry is carried out. Upon this work, the textual analysis with the picking poetry is executed, which includes the most significant picking, just as gathering vetch, picking mulberry, chrysanthemum, plucking lotus and water chestnut. And the significant of picking poetry before Tang is summarized. Then, according to the theme of Chinese Literature, we do the research by classification, such as the theme of love picking poetry, the theme of death picking poetry. At last the summary of development trend for picking poetry before Tang Dynasty is carried out.
