Text Performance As A Video Narrative Method

The text element has always only played an auxiliary role in the video,and now some pioneering animation performers in Japan have begun to use text as an image for storyboard design.In China,whether it is film,television or art video,it is rare to see works that focus on text performance.I also love Chinese culture,especially Chinese calligraphy.It’s time for word performance as a new type of performance to be studied.As a visual art creator and study researcher,the author conducts in-depth research on the performance method of text performance for the purpose of serving the creative practice.In my creative practice,the author explores new ways of performing characters,especially Chinese characters.I hope that the author’s research and creation can inspire the creators who read this article.
