Exploring The Practice Of Teaching Seal Carving In A Museum Of Famous Artists

This study analyzes the application of seal carving teaching in the public aesthetic education of traditional painting and calligraphy museums,and applies seal carving teaching to the public aesthetic education curriculum of art museums to enhance the influence of seal carving art.We attempt to analyze the rationality and feasibility of the design and practice of seal carving teaching in art museums through the "art museum gallery tour + workshop" model of seal carving teaching.Firstly,we analyze the differences between public aesthetic education in professional art museums and traditional art museums,and explain the necessity of teaching seal carving in art museums through the advantages of teaching seal carving in traditional art museums and how to use seal carving teaching to enhance the characteristics of public aesthetic education in art museums.Secondly,the design concept and theoretical basis of seal carving teaching in art museums are explored,and the specific ways and means of applying seal carving teaching to Liu Jiang Art Museum are elaborated through actual teaching cases in Liu Jiang Art Museum.We conducted a questionnaire survey on the willingness to learn seal carving course in Liujiang Art Museum,analyzed the phenomenon,summarized and concluded,and conducted a systematic study and analysis on the teaching setup of seal carving in Liujiang Art Museum.Finally,we summarized and reflected on the teaching implementation process as well as the implementation results,and recognized the teaching shortcomings.From the research data and interviews,we learned that the students’ understanding of traditional seal carving art had changed,and the implementation of seal carving teaching at Liu Jiang Art Museum had achieved initial results.The main significance of this study is to explore the path of teaching seal carving in art museums and to provide art museums with special aesthetic education services for communities,families,schools,etc.The implementation of the seal carving teaching curriculum in Liu Jiang Art Gallery and the innovative art gallery curriculum design,etc.provide references for other traditional famous art galleries to carry out seal carving teaching classes,so that the art of seal carving can be better inherited and developed.
