Character design The overall creation of a character’s style,personality,behavior,and overall visual appearance.A character is more than just a visual concept,a well-crafted,personal and engaging character that engages the audience with the story.This study studies the role and relationship of character identity in animation from The perspective of oudou anime,discusses the purpose of character design,and then answers "what makes a character design successful" and "what steps are involved in the process of designing a character".The article is divided into five parts,the first part is the research involved in the core concept,research significance,research background,research methods are explained.Chapter two is the main body of the research,the relationship between role design and role identity and the principle of the generation are summarized.The third chapter explores how the audience’s aesthetic expectation affects the character design on the basis of the content of the second chapter.The fourth chapter analyzes how different characters will be photographed in each work exhibition from the perspective of camera combination.The last chapter is about the process of graduation creation and the practical exploration of the research conclusion.The conclusion chapter summarizes the contents of the above chapters and gives a general answer to the core questions of the research.
