Among the numerous animation genres,family is the most rooted in reality,and The Chinese cultural circle is one of the social groups that attach the most importance to family in the world.The family animation works produced in this region are rich and excellent,showing the modern Family of the Chinese nation,and at the same time contain the traditional Chinese family morality;It blends the mundane with fantasy and features animated characters.In order to understand the richness and diversity of family animation in Chinese-speaking areas,this paper started to study the role composition,and recognized the differences of family culture in different Chinese-speaking areas in the contemporary,and based on this difference to find the common ground of family animation character construction in Chinese-speaking areas.At present,domestic researches on family-themed animations in Chinese areas are mainly focused on the appreciation of single works and the development of family animations in the mainland and Taiwan,but there is still a lack of comprehensive analysis on the composition of animation characters.The character composition of this kind of animation is still in dynamic development.By studying and summarizing the current situation of the character construction of this kind of animation,we can understand the realistic structure of Chinese families in the world,explore the mutual influence between animation works and family reality,and predict the development direction of Chinese family-themed animation in the future.Based on the broadcasted Chinese family animations,this paper investigates eleven representative animated series,four animated films and seven animated short films,and combines the literature,work examples and personal practice to start from the individual virtual characters and implement them into the real groups to which they belong.First of all,this paper takes the character appearance art design of Chinese family-themed animation as the entry point to lay a foundation for the following research.Then the observation perspective is transferred to the identity characteristics and status of the characters,and then the relationship between the family roles is deeply discussed,and the influence of the secondary role outside the family on the main role is searched,and the social role of this kind of animation is expounded in combination with practice.Finally,the article concluded by the above a variety of research Angle,Chinese family role constitute the overall direction of animation is composed of a yuan to diverse,its representative in the Chinese culture influenced by Confucian traditional family values also did not die,and in the modern family structure,modern interpersonal coexistence state.
