A Report On The E-C Translation Of Media Bias & Credibility Issues In New World Order

Media Bias and Public Credibility in the New World Order,as an illustrative article,explains the current media bias in the context of the epidemic in India.The research on the text abroad develops slowly,and few translated texts have been introduced to China.Therefore,this type of text has an expansive market and is of great significance to enrich and enhance the spiritual realm of Chinese readers.At the same time,its translated text could make the reader recognize the biased problems of using media as a medium.This report has five aspects of the content: the description of translation task and process,theoretical basis,case analysis and summary.Chapter one firstly introduces the translation background,reviews the relevant literature;then summarizes the language characteristics of the translation text,points out the research significance,and finally identifies the structure of the article.Chapter two describes the basic steps in the translation preparation,understanding and expression and revise and review in post-translation.Chapter three briefly introduces the guiding theory “functional equivalence” during this translation practice.Chapter four is a case analysis of translation project by using four methods: literal translation,free and partial translation,division,the method of inversion and restructuring,and so on.Finally,the translation practice is summarized from two aspects of harvest and enlightenment.The author has gained a lot in this process of translation practice: learning relevant materials and operating and grasping translation tools before translation.Intranslation,the above translation methods are adopted to solve the problem of long and difficult sentences in English-Chinese translation of this kind of text;and his translation theoretical literacy and practical ability have also been improved in the process of translation.Understanding and expression mode have also been enhanced,which will also give a reference to the author’s translation about long sentences in the future.
