A Study On The Construction Of Regional Cultural Image In Rural Documentaries

With the development of society,cultural competition has gradually become a new focus of international competition.In particular,the proposition of the era of cultural selfconfidence is of great significance for carrying forward and inheriting China’s excellent traditional culture and improving cultural soft power.Regional culture is the root of China’s excellent traditional culture,and the family style,folk style and rural style contained in rural culture are the essence of regional culture.Through the display of rural culture in rural documentaries,it can not only build a regional cultural image in an imagelike way,awaken the nostalgic memory of wanderers,but also help enhance cultural selfconfidence,so that Chinese culture can show Chinese charm and the style of the times in the world.This paper mainly uses the case analysis method and combines the relevant theories of narratology to analyze how rural documentaries construct regional cultural images.The first part first defines the concepts of rural documentaries and regional cultural images,and then focuses on sorting out the types and development processes of rural documentaries.The second part mainly discusses the connotation of regional culture,the classification and characteristics of regional culture,and the value of regional culture in rural documentaries,laying the foundation for the following discussion.The third part explores how rural documentaries can construct regional cultural images through narrative,and discusses the aspects of showing regional cultural background and highlighting cultural points from three aspects: narrative structure,narrative techniques and narrative perspective.The fourth part starts from the audiovisual language of documentary creation,and strives to visualize the regional cultural image through the analysis of the screen and sound language in the documentary,and present the regional cultural image with documentary pictures and real sounds.The fifth part discusses the application of regional cultural image construction strategy in the graduation design work "Sunset",and expounds the creative path of building a regional cultural image in rural theme documentaries from the dimensions of picture shooting,sound picking,post-editing,etc.,in order to provide certain reference value for the creation of documentaries of the same type.
