Image Construction Of Chengdu Regional Culture In Documentary Works

Regional culture has the style characteristics of a specific region,and represents cultural information such as traditions,customs,and natural ecology that are unique and profound in a specific region.Documentary works,as historical three-dimensional archives and realistic document notes,can transform the abstract historical tradition and modern spirit in a specific region into concrete video works through video means,and are the medium that can truly reflect the local regional culture.Therefore,taking documentary works as the carrier to carry out targeted analysis on the cultural characteristics and video works of a certain region has positive significance and value for the creation and dissemination of local culture.Based on this,this paper takes Chengdu regional culture as the research object,focuses on the construction of Chengdu regional culture in documentary images,and combines media geography to analyze the construction content,process and way of Chengdu regional culture in documentary works,so as to improve the research on the construction and dissemination of Chengdu regional culture image.First of all,this paper defines and analyzes documentary works,regional culture and documentary works of Chengdu regional culture and other related concepts to clarify the characteristics,development and communication status of Chengdu regional culture.Secondly,taking the existing documentary works of Chengdu regional culture as research samples,this paper divides them into two categories: urban humanities and historical culture,analyzes their respective characteristics,and summarizes the ways of their image construction.On the basis of image analysis of existing works,combined with personal graduation works,in-depth analysis is made from the three aspects of narrative structure,content construction and audio-visual construction,and the reconstruction of real time and space in works is analyzed from the two dimensions of "time" and "space",combined with the two elements of "landscape" and "sense of place" in media geography.This paper analyzes the construction methods of Chengdu landscape and scene integration shown in the works,and studies how documentary works construct Chengdu’s unique regional culture through pictures and sounds from an audio-visual perspective.The documentary works of Chengdu regional culture constantly deepen the core of Chengdu regional culture through a logical narrative way of "seeing the big from the small" and integrating the current emerging image technology,and finally realize the image-based construction of Chengdu’s historical sense and modernity compatibility,which is of great practical significance for the creation and dissemination of Chengdu regional culture.
