"Grandpa’s Fish Lanterns" Writing Exploration Of Children’s Picture Books With The Theme Of Huizhou Fish Lanterns

Huizhou fish lantern is a traditional folk culture belonging to Wang Mantian village in She County,Anhui Province,which has unique cultural connotation and aesthetic value.However,with the continuous change of modern society,the inheritance of traditional culture is facing multiple challenges such as the impact of multi-culture,the change of people’s aesthetic consciousness and cultural fault.Huizhou fish lantern is in urgent need of seeking new cultural carriers and realizing the innovative development of cultural and artistic expressions.The arrival of the "picture reading era" has made picture books an emerging force in cultural communication.Picture book is a special communication medium that tells stories,promotes culture and expresses emotions in the form of interactive artistic expression of pictures and texts.It is of great value to promote the inheritance and development of Huizhou fish lantern culture.This paper is mainly based on traditional culture and takes Huizhou fish lanterns as the theme object,and conducts the research on the creation of the picture book "Grandpa’s Fish Lantern".The paper is mainly divided into three parts: the first part is the creation demand report,starting from the market research of Huizhou fish lanterns and traditional culture children’s picture books,which indicates the direction for this research creation.The second part is a theoretical research report,which analyzes the two aspects of Huizhou fish lanterns and traditional culture children’s picture books as the starting point.Then,we analyze the artistic expression and characteristics of traditional culture children’s picture books by combining specific cases.The theoretical foundation is laid for the integration of Huizhou fish lanterns and children’s picture books.The third part is the creation process report,taking the graduation design picture book "Grandpa’s Fish Lantern" as an example,mainly through the creation practice of the picture book,exploring the artistic presentation form of Huizhou fish lanterns in children’s picture books.On the basis of keeping the essence of Huizhou fish lantern culture,we integrate the visual language in line with the aesthetic trend of the times.It awakens the young generation’s consciousness of traditional culture and injects new vitality into the inheritance and development of Huizhou fish lanterns.
