| Chinese sports films in different periods are basically developing and changing along the direction of constructing national image.From this perspective,the development of Chinese sports film can be roughly divided into four stages,were in the1930 s,the founding of "the seventeen years" period,the reform and opening period,and a new era.Each historical stage shows obvious themes and characteristics of The Times:in the 1930 s,the whole country was searching for the road of "saving the nation and striving for survival";During "the seventeen years" of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,it made every effort to create the image of a "standing up" New China,focusing on the construction of a new socialist society.In the new era,the policy of internal reform and opening to the outside world has created the image of a changing China actively seeking "modernization" and "going to the world",and the image of a country gradually "getting rich".Since the beginning of the 21 st century,with the acceleration of globalization,China’s status and influence in the world pattern have been gradually consolidated and enhanced.A "stronger" China has emerged in the eyes of the world.China has consciously assumed its responsibilities as a major country in the conceptual framework of building a community with a shared future for mankind,and has begun to establish its image as a major country.Chinese sports films corresponding to different historical stages show the creation tendency of keeping the same frequency and resonance with The Times.Especially,some sports films with female protagonists have a more prominent social impact.From the perspective of the most representative and influential sports films in various periods,the shaping of female images is usually closely related to the demands of the national image construction at that time,which has become an intuitive and typical "image model" for sports films to reflect the national image construction.This is the basic starting point of this paper.By using the methods of literature research,textual close reading,interdisciplinary research and historical research,this paper carries out historical sorting and theoretical analysis on how Chinese sports films embody and complete the function of national image construction through female image creation.The paper is divided into four chapters:The first chapter mainly analyzes the relationship between the construction of national image and Chinese sports films,and explains that in the course of China’s historical development,the national image in films has been influenced by film culture and sports culture.In the Chinese sports films of the same period,the female image is portrayed and expressed distinctly,which is closely related to the national image to a certain extent.The second chapter mainly combs the development course of Chinese sports movies,and divides this historical context into four stages: 1930 s,"seventeen Years" period,reform and opening up period and new era.In different historical stages,sports films with strong influence and prominent female images have been produced.This chapter takes one of the most representative works of each period as the main object of analysis,and combines several films of the same period as a supplement to carry out text analysis,in order to summarize the characteristics of female images in sports films of various historical stages.The third chapter further links the female images in sports films with the corresponding historical background and social environment,analyzes how the female images in sports films at different stages reflect and reflect the different demands of national image construction in different periods,and reveals the resonant relationship between the female images in Chinese sports films and national image construction.The fourth chapter mainly through the Chinese sports film female image shaping on the national image construction function,to observe the whole Chinese sports film to the national image construction of the completion of the situation,mainly from the experience and deficiencies of The Chinese sports film to realize the national image construction of the creative practice of the overall reflection.Analysis found that the Chinese sports movie in creation has accumulated experience in the following several aspects:1.The creation idea and claimed the national image construction of consciousness;2.Subject matter selection involved in a variety of sports;3.Distinctive characteristics of The Times are highlighted in character image creation.In addition to these creative experiences,of course,there are still many shortcomings,such as the lack of the human community with a shared future in the creation of the Chinese sports movies failed to arouse the resonance of the international community,so that the carrying effect of national image construction is greatly reduced;The theme of sports movies in China is relatively concentrated and single.In terms of character image,the author focuses on creating a single "successful" image,but lacks more diversified and complex exploration and enrichment.These deficiencies are not only the shortcomings of Chinese sports film creation,but also an important breakthrough for the development of Chinese sports film. |
